Default Small sketchbook art dump

Some of these are somewhat finished, others are sketches in progress... though probably will never get finished
Any advise will be dearly appreciated.

I meant to do a simular piece to your tree man a while ago but it had a farm house on its left and in the background. It never made it past the sketch scene.

Interesting. Actually I like the content you put into your works. I've gotten a little not lazy with art, but to the point where I want to do something and get it done quickly before I get bored of it. This ends up with most of my pieces being quite simple.

You are so good with the details... I can understand the bored part. If I focused that much on the details I would never finish a project.

Exactly. Once I see the image in my head in detail, I have to display it immediately or I'll get bored of it since it's already done in my mind. Because of this, the art of story writing, especially a novel, can be very different. Each day when you write a new chapter or a few pages to add, you have to think new ideas etc. When you write a book it's a constant flow of creativity. With an art piece, it's one formed idea but you need to present it clearly, so if you don't finish quickly, then the following days your just adding, rendering, etc. the image that is already laid out. Of course with experience the professional artist will know the timing for a piece and work on it enthusiastically until finished.

I continually think in stories so that's probably why we are so different.

I see. Interesting comparison.
I do at times, but I don't want my artwork to always come from that area of thought, because I'm afraid it will all end up too similar or not creative enough. Although with a constant flow of new stories that doesn't matter. Hmm I'll meditate on this some more.
